It's nice to meet you!  I'm Taylor Barr, production designer/set decorator. For as long as I can remember, I've always had a passion for creating. Even as a child, I would make things in my craft studio (my bedroom), and create miniature rooms for my dolls. Fast forward to today, I've found a love for the creative world that is production design.

 In May 2023, I graduated with a BFA concentrating in  production design for film from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. 

I've had the opportunity to design and decorate a diverse selection of short films, as well as set dress for feature film,  A Little Prayer, which has premiered at the Sundance Film festival. Recently, I worked as a set decorator at the Carowinds Amusement Park. I have a background in fine art, set decorating, prop fabrication, sculpting, miniatures, scenic painting,  and graphic design.  I also have experience using multiple software such as,  Sketchup / Layout, Adobe Suite, and more.

 Whether world-building or creating script breakdowns, I always give my best efforts and try to solve problems creatively.
